On February 2, 2024, Wool for Warmth participated in Warmetruiendag at the International School of the Hague, and it was a wonderful occasion. We had the opportunity to represent our organization and engage with many students who were fascinated by the art of knitting and crocheting. We shared the mission of Wool for Warmth, which is to distribute hand-knitted clothing to the homeless while encouraging sustainability. The students were even more enthusiastic after learning about our mission.
At Wool for Warmth, we currently have a few volunteers from the International School of the Hague. Their contributions, whether through knitting, crocheting, or assisting with daily operations, are incredibly valuable to us. As a volunteer-based organization, we rely heavily on volunteers like these students, who are always eager to help and make a significant impact. We are always excited to welcome more volunteers who are passionate about contributing to our mission.
