Wool for Warmth was thrilled to participate in International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8, 2024. It was a deeply heart-warming occasion that reminded us of the importance of honoring every woman, not just on that specific day, but every day. We were thrilled to participate in this meaningful event once again. We distributed nearly 160 sets of hand-knitted clothing items to women in homeless shelters. Witnessing their heartfelt appreciation and joy was a truly touching experience. The women we met were kind-hearted individuals who deserve recognition and celebration throughout the year. Engaging in brief conversations with some of these women made the experience even more memorable.
I want to express my gratitude to the Wool for Warmth team for dedicating their time to take part in this memorable event. We are eagerly looking forward to celebrating Women’s Day with these incredible women next year.
